About the role

The Culture, Diversity and Inclusion Lead is a senior leadership role championing a safe, inclusive and values-driven workplace where people can thrive. The role leads the organisation's culture, diversity and inclusion strategies and frameworks with a strong focus on equity and cultural safety, it supports Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities, LGBTQIA+ people, people with disabilities and culturally diverse communities. Partnering with leaders across the organisation, the role embeds inclusive practices and drives belonging and high performance.

Your duties include:

  • Lead the implementation and monitoring of cohealth's Diversity & Inclusion, and Culture Frameworks
  • Lead the cross functional strengthening culture team, overseeing delivery of the Strengthening Culture Plan, ensuring alignment with organisational strategy, values, and legislative obligations
  • Manage and mentor the Culture, Diversity, and Inclusion team, fostering capability, collaboration and accountability
  • Develop work plans, performance indicators, and reporting mechanisms to track progress against strategic Culture, Diversity, and Inclusion goals

Our ideal candidate:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Organisational Development, Social Sciences, Health, or a related discipline
  • Significant experience in leading diversity, inclusion, and/or organisational culture strategies
  • Demonstrated experience delivering strategic initiatives that create measurable cultural change
  • Strong understanding of intersectional approaches to diversity and inclusion, including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultural safety, gender equity, accessibility, LGBTIQA+ inclusion, and multicultural engagement
  • Strong belief and personal alignment in cohealth Values and Mission
